How do I book an appointment manually for a client?

Open the appointment from the calendar and use Cancel or Edit. Cancelling without a refund emails the client automatically. If they paid and are owed money back, use Refund instead so the payment is reversed at the same time -- see Payments & Wallet below.

Why can't clients book a time that looks free on my calendar?

Available times account for the service's duration plus any buffer time you've set for it, so a gap that looks free may be too short once buffer time is included.

Can clients pick which team member they want?

Yes -- assign 2 or more team members to a service (Services page, below), and a "choose a team member" step (including an "Any Available" option) appears automatically on your public booking page for that service. It stays hidden entirely for a service with only one assigned member.

What does "Any Available" do when a client picks it?

It doesn't lock the booking to one person at the time it's made -- whoever assigned to that service is actually free for that exact slot gets it, decided at the moment of booking (or payment, for a paid booking), not when the client browses times.

What does "one booking per day" do to the time picker?

It turns the whole day into a single slot -- once one client books it, the entire day is taken. The picker shows a "Book this day" button instead of a specific time, since the exact clock time isn't meaningful for a whole-day booking. Set this under Settings > Hours.

How do I invite a team member?

Go to the Team page and click "Invite a team member." Pick their role (owner/manager/staff) and which permissions they get -- what they can see and manage is controlled per-permission, not just by role.

How do I set my business's default working hours?

Settings > Hours. Set opening and closing times per day, add multiple periods in a day (e.g. a lunch break), or mark a day fully closed. This is what every team member follows unless they have their own override.

Can I set different hours for one specific team member?

Yes -- once you have 2+ team members, a "Whose hours are you editing?" picker appears at the top of Settings > Hours. Pick a team member and set their own hours; anyone without their own override keeps following the business default. Only the business owner or someone with the manage_availability permission can change hours or see colleagues' schedules.

How do I block out time off or a holiday?

Settings > Time Off. You can block a whole day or business, or a specific team member's own calendar for a date range -- approved time off is automatically excluded from what clients can book.

How do I add or edit a service?

Settings > Services. Set its name, price, duration and buffer time, or use the + button to add a new one. Turning a service off hides it from new bookings without deleting its history.

How do I control which team members can perform a service?

On the same Services page, each service (once you have 2+ team members) has a list of who can perform it -- check every team member who does. This is also what decides whether clients get a team-member picker at all when booking that service.

How do I get paid for bookings?

Payments run through Stripe Connect. Go to Settings > Payments and finish connecting your bank details -- until that's done, clients can't pay online for that business.

Can I require a deposit instead of full payment?

Yes -- deposit and cancellation-fee rules are set on Settings > Payments and apply automatically to every booking that requires payment.

Why does my balance show as "pending" for a few days?

Accepted Answer

Stripe holds a new charge's funds for a rolling period (shown on the Wallet page, under your pending balance) before they count as available -- this protects against chargebacks and refund requests, and is set by Stripe based on your account and country, not something this app controls.

Can I control how often I get paid out?

Yes -- Settings > Wallet has a Payout Schedule card: Daily, Weekly (pick a weekday), Monthly (pick a day of the month), or Manual only. You can also trigger an on-demand payout any time with the Withdraw Now button regardless of your schedule.

How do refunds work?

Open the appointment and use the Refund action. It reverses the original Stripe charge, emails the client a confirmation, and frees the slot back up. Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to reach the client's account.

Can I turn off email notifications?

Yes -- Settings > Notifications lets you choose which events (new bookings, cancellations, payments) you're emailed about.
